The article reveals the basics of strategy modernization education system. At present stage its reform, they are aimed at increasing competitiveness educational institutions in services market, creating maximum accessibility and openness for population business. They should be carried out within framework innovations, taking into account main directions socio-economic development republic, implementation priority areas state policy field education.
